Fluxes for XRF and Additives

Preparing XRF glass bits requires appropriate sample preparation and the use of a flux. The most common method involves annealing the sample and mixing it with a flux - typically lithium tetraborate or a mixture of lithium tetraborate and lithium metaborate. Mixtures of fluxes in different ratios are available, including additives that reduce the surface tension of the sample (LiBr; LiI). Some samples require various additives for melting for X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF). In our range, you will find oxidizing agents for iron alloys, slag, etc., as well as agents for reducing the surface tension of the sample.
